6 Different Types of Tea
Normal Black Tea
Very common in every household is the black tea. It has a darker hue and taste stronger if the leaves are left longer due to the oxidation it undergoes. Chai from Sri Lanka is common ingredient in black tea.
For best results, steep black tea leaves for about 3 minutes.
Green Tea
Normally associated with one’s health, the green tea has a delicate flavour due its minimal oxidation. These leaves are dried or steamed in order to stop the oxidation process directly after plucking.
There are various types of green teas that may appeal to various palette. Among these are macha, mint, sencha and earl grey. The taste are invigorating and well-balanced.

Oolong Tea
Oolong tea falls between black and green teas in the degree of its oxidation. It has a balance taste of delicacy and depth as it is less grassy than green tea but less bold that that of a black tea.

Herbal Tea
Herbal tea are usually caffeine-free making them the best alternative to regular tea. Flavours are added to provide a satisfying palette like peppermint and lemon.
